Review on Ceiling Lights Remote Ceiling Dimmable by Diana Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

QC had a day off?

The size of this fan is exactly what I was looking for. There aren't many of them with a 36 inch wingspan. I have a 24" skylight and didn't want to use a large fan. I placed it under the opening and the body entered the skylight opening just far enough for the louvers to rotate just below the ceiling. This accomplished my goal of moving outside air nicely. However, I first painted the blades white. I don't know why they thought the little fan was for a child's room, so they painted the blades bright, fun colors. Is it important? I think the seller would sell more if they offered all white blades. Now the worst. The instructions (did I lose the English version or was there really only a Spanish version?) I think is correct for the most part, but as for the LED light parts and assembly instructions, they refer to different parts than those that came with the kit. Crate. The video tutorial which really helps also shows the guy assembling another LED bulb. I had to figure out how to assemble an LED light, which I got through trial and error. I think I assembled it in a workable way save for a small misplaced wire, but it was hard to figure out that they actually use magnets to connect the light and the electrical box (the box isn't used in the video or the instructions ). to the metal housing of the fan. There were also extra parts that I didn't use. So QA missed it. I've uploaded a few photos showing how I assembled the LED and electrical box that I received. The remote control works perfectly and this is the only way to control it (not lose it). The light has 3 modes but is not dimmable (I would like that). The fan only spins in one direction, pushing air down (I want it to be reversible). The noise level is not higher than expected on every level. The quality of the materials seems to be pretty good. With that in mind, once you figure out how to assemble it, it works great if it suits your needs.

Pros
  • Lighting and ceiling fans
Cons
