They do not fit the 2011 Jetta sports car even though they are advertised as such. But even if they do work eventually, please understand that there is still a long way to go to make them work. There are basically three things you need to take care of: the physical key, the remote control, and pairing the key with the car to make it work with the immobilizer. Cutting the key is the first difficulty - I had to try four different locksmiths and the first one ruined one of the key blanks before I admitted it couldn't. The last locksmith who can do it charges $65 for a key. Ouch. Next you need to connect the remote control to the alarm clock. Instructions are included with the key, but they don't work. Googling (as suggested by some other buyers) yielded completely different instructions, and they didn't work either. Having said that, even if you can program the remote you still need to pair with the immobilization software and the instructions are clear that this needs to be done at the dealer. My dealer charges $50 for it and was willing to do both for the same price. Unfortunately they couldn't get her to work and luckily they collected the fee. This all took too long so I'm out of the returns window now. I may have just bought the wrong key, but I urge everyone to be careful before buying these keys.
