Samsung DEX Dock: D- Connect Clean - OK HDMI Pass Through - OK Ethernet Pass Through - FAIL USB Device Pass Through: FAIL with my wireless keyboard/mouse Microsoft Power: This is a simple check, charging speed was similar with cable, not direct . The ONLY reason I bought this cable is to connect it to the DEX without removing the Note 8 case. I have both USB devices and GigE connections in my DEX. Unfortunately, only HDMI and power work. I haven't tested any other UBS devices other than the mouse/keyboard, which didn't work either. If you don't need it, this cable can be suitable for your use. But obviously I didn't succeed. If you're looking for a DEX compatible cable, either mine is defective or it's not the right one. I'll see what the seller has to say and update this review accordingly, this is indeed a defect.
