Our beloved 8 year old pet contracted a stomach infection out of nowhere. Despite the vet taking constant antibiotics, she continued to deteriorate and literally turned to skin and bones. She ate no dry food, no wet food, and not even the great delicacy of human food. We were at the point where her vet gave us two choices: let her leave and IV feed her, or put her to sleep.
