The controller is clearly not a licensed Sony product. This is obviously because it doesn't work well with the PlayStation system. One of the first issues I found was the headphone jack. The sound quality was terrible and the volume was always incredibly loud no matter what the system output was set to. There was also no way to turn off the controller's speaker.
