Not exactly suitable for 5 " x 7 " gift bags
"5x7" is a very generous description of the actual size. It's only 5 x 7 inches if you pull the fabric very tight and then round to the nearest quarter inch. I really needed a simple 5 x 7 but this seems to work so don't mess with the return. The quality for the price is very good and if that was the size I really need I would give it 5 stars. Alright, live and learn.
