I usually carry very large bags so I needed something large but inexpensive to sling over my shoulder for travel. This bag isn't big but I can fit everything I need in it so it's a decent size. I bought the smoky color (dark pink inside) and love the style of the zippers, all but one have a carabiner to keep the zipper closed. The strap is comfortable when the bag is not overloaded. Now the reason for the three stars. The fittings on this bag are of poor quality ("pot metal"). It will break easily. The clip that holds the strap to one end of the bag is a very weak point as the "pin" in the clip is unreliable. It's not the prettiest solution, but I slipped the clip through the hardware loop and secured it to the bottom of the bag. straps (see photo). I turned the bag so the pretty zippered side was facing in so the clip was in front of me. Both of these issues (poor hardware and an unreliable strap connection on the "back" of the bag) make this bag not the most secure or durable holdall. I don't regret the purchase, but I will make some modifications so that I can use the bag with the "nice" side out and still feel safe enough as a shoulder bag.
