Review on Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) TP-LINK RE650, white by Masaaki Haruto ᠌

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

I still don’t understand why there are so many high ratings and laudatory reviews, it seems that this is the best solution on the market. And if so, it’s better not to bother with such devices at all, but to buy a solution that works through "sockets" The main question is that it has huge dimensions, "high" power, while in a private monolithic house it is installed on the ground floor. On the second floor, it is almost invisible to devices. But the situation will be exactly the same if a good router works instead. How so? Why is this miracle needed? The main problem - very often, randomly - all devices that are connected through it - lose their connection, i. E. speed is not cut, but simply nothing works, I station writes that there is no connection. on phones, pages in the browser do not open at all, etc. The reason for this phenomenon is not clear. As well as it is not clear what for it is necessary for such money. As a result, the station and some of the devices work through a weak router signal from the second floor. as a result, it is more convenient, because no connection loss.

Pros
  • Simple, fast setup.
Cons
  • - low signal power for such sizes. - constant connection problems for ALL devices in the house that work through this miracle
