I was under the impression that it would be a remaster, but instead I got an exact remake based on the PS1 version. If you want it, then suffer for the sake of God and play the game on the medium difficulty setting, which turns the game into a sort of Bloodborne on wheels. For pure enjoyment, I'd rather ride a flat-out two than a Colin McRae rally four. I want the racing experience to be fun, not terrifying. There is not just a handbook in the packaging, but also a straightforward insert that provides a description of the controls; however, collecting discs of this type is not particularly exciting.
