This stand is great and fits both my iPhone and iPad. Assembly is not intuitive and no instructions are provided. I've managed it through trial and error, but not everyone succeeds. Once assembled, the stand is solid and allows you to raise or lower the inserted device to your desired height and use it in portrait or landscape mode. Inserting a phone is easier than a tablet because the tension on the mechanism that holds the device is high. So I'm wondering if this could harm the tablet as it tends to warp the glass and leads to spooky movement which is a known issue with iPads.
