Designed for Large Vehicles

It would be unfair to give them only 3 stars as they appear to be very durable and would probably fit in large trucks or buses but I would save myself some time (and money) if If I had known in advance they wouldn't work on smaller vehicles. They're just too big. Too large. For example, they can be half the size and still be too big for something smaller than the Accord. I think if I ever buy a truck and want to pick it up at my dirt garage I'm all set, but that's a pretty big if. If you have a

Product with excellent value for money

Product with excellent value for money. Same price as the others but comes with a pretty sturdy storage case. I also liked that there is a 3/4" ratchet hole on the end as in most cases the spring is too close to the spring to put a box wrench on the end. That way, if things get tight, I can add a 6" extension and have enough room for a ratchet instead of twisting and then repositioning with each turn. Not recommended for pickup trucks or large SUVs

I had my doubts about using this product for my truck's coil springs but the reviews here were pretty good so I gave it a try. Should have known better! I used this to replace the front struts on my Nissan Titan. The bars flexed fairly well to compress the spring, but I rode slow and slow and replaced the first with no problem. On the second spring, one of the rods broke in half under load. It was like an explosion and I was lucky I wasn't hurt. Be careful when using this product on pickup…
