Review on Redragon K552 BA Keyboard Mechanical Switches by Anthony Juat

I have another Redragon keyboard and mouse that I use as my main keyboard in my home office and I really like them. However, due to the pandemic, I have to work a lot upstairs at the kitchen table. The standard keyboard on my laptop isn't the best, so I bought another USB keyboard in the past and I didn't like it either. In the end I decided I should get one of the same brand and switch type (brown) that I have at the office. As I had hoped, this keyboard is of excellent quality and fun to type on. I like that it's smaller and takes up less space when I put it away. My only complaint and the reason I deducted a star is the LED backlight. My other Redragon keyboard has customizable RBG colors, but the LEDs on this one are configured as a single color. And I'd be fine if it was just solid blue or something. But the rows from top to bottom are red, blue, orange, green, yellow and purple, no spectral order and I think the ordering looks a bit bad to be honest. Unfortunately, while you can change the various effects, you can't change the color itself. I've changed the setting so that the backlight doesn't normally light up, but there is a "color flash" every time you press a key, and I don't hate it, but I would like the default backlight to be a looks a bit better. This is mainly a keyboard review, but the mouse is a perfectly serviceable wired mouse with an aesthetically pleasing rainbow backlight, no complaints there. Overall, Redragon still offers the best quality for the price I've found at Revain so far.
