After a week of use these socks have helped moisturize my dry heels a bit. The first day the smell of essential oils was very strong. However, on the second day it decreased significantly. Socks feel cool when worn. They are fluffy on the outside and have steps at the bottom so I don't slip on the tiled floor. However, I don't like walking around in it because the silicone gel feels weird when I step on it. My favorite time to put these socks on is when I'm sitting for twenty minutes. It says they are 8.7 inches. I didn't measure my feet; I just assumed they would fit. I usually wear 9.5 shoes and these socks are just big enough. If my feet were a size 9 I'm sure they would fit perfectly. Socks should be worn for 20 to 30 minutes. Due to my large feet, the socks are a bit tight at the opening where they fit over my foot. You feel uncomfortable after 20 minutes. If my foot wasn't so big I'd probably ride a 30.
