It was literally the cheapest dresser that suited my needs. The quality is below average (chips and scratches are SUPER light), but for under $130 I'm not expecting a great example. I have bought several other smaller dressers around this price with heavier laminate and have seen other dressers of the same size and price but we don't have the same colour. That's it. One thing I will definitely say is that the "assembly" was literally carpentry. I had to drill, thresh and glue. The legs are very cheap plastic that had to be glued to the bottom caps or they wouldn't hold up and the fiberboard was the most brittle I've seen. A few hours later it was finally built, and what I saved in dollars I definitely paid for the hassle. I also noticed that I don't like pens. There was no information on the size of the grips, so this was another annoying step. I ended up buying the cheapest 96mm knobs that matched and these + matching length screws brought the total price up to about $150. Do I think I could do better for the price? no But if you have more cash or are less obsessed with wood grain, you probably can.
