Received yesterday and used for the first time last night. My painting has already improved. I paint with oil. Very easy to use. Especially for the price. The darkest tone isn't actually black, but I'm ok with that because whoever uses the blackest black in art makes a visual hole in your painting. I don't need exact, just approximate. Also note that all tones are warm. So I just blink when I compare it to the cold tone in my painting. I'm expecting it to have paint on it so I'll be buying a few more. I don't think he's weak. Anyway, I wouldn't mind if it was a little thinner paper so there is no shadow between the grayscale and the color. But that doesn't bother me either, because the viewing holes are good and large. I don't know if there is a perfect way to make this product for all purposes but for the price this is a very valuable tool for an artist.
