To replace my 4 year old laser
This machine was well packed. I recommend watching an assembly video or two online. The assembly is a bit more difficult and requires attention. Laser recommends using LaserGRBL or Lightburn as software. I tried both, bought Lightburn. Both software packages work well, but need to be learned - it's not a ready-to-play toy that you can get up and running. The diode laser to be replaced had its own rudimentary software that did the job but left a lot to be desired. This diode laser has the power and ability to perform complex tasks under lightburn. I have etched slate with incredible results.
