COMFORT FOR ORTHOSTHETICS! They are a bit small, maybe half a size. However, it was a stroke of luck to find a standard shoe that fits my daughter's SMO ankle. We received her at Christmas and alerted her daily, including during weekly physiotherapy. Ready to order a new pair because her legs are growing so fast. UPDATE: The larger size seems to work better if we remove the insoles as instructed by the podiatrist. We have used the smaller insoles from time to time but for some reason the larger sizes seem to be smaller in the ankle area.
