Handy little tool. I recently switched from a safety razor to a foil razor because I'm dead lazy and just can't get enough of my worries and while I love the simplicity and time saving, I've found that foil razors really can't handle slightly longer hair. If you're missing a small nape stubble for more than a few days, a dull foil razor can't cut it anymore and you'll have to flip it over and pull out the detailer. However, on every foil razor I've ever used, the detailer sucks. The Panasonic Detailer is essentially the same tool you'll find on the back of any decent foil razor, but it's a lot better because it's not attached to a bulky blade. piece of plastic and you can really control it without irritating your skin. If you're missing a few hairs or have an awkward area where the foil doesn't reach, this piece will solve that problem. It also helps very well to get the back of your head in order between haircuts. Yes, the articulated neck is a bit odd and I would have preferred a fixed blade for better control, but I'm really happy with this thing. It only takes a few minutes to eliminate a few problem areas and I can start my day with a clean shave.
