My Samsung dryer started creaking and stopped drying laundry. I did some research and found that it is a idler pulley. Then the dryer stopped completely. Had to work hard to get the dryer off it. Maybe 45 minutes with a cordless screwdriver. I took photos as I walked, put the screws in ziplock bags and marked them as I walked. Appliance Parts Pros video was very helpful. Inside, the pulley fell off completely and there were metal shavings from disintegrated bearings everywhere. The rollers were in good condition and dismantling them requires additional work to replace them, so I chose not to install the spare that comes with the kit. Another 45 minutes to clean up and assemble the dryer. It was actually a good opportunity to get all the lint out of those weird spots you don't usually see with my shop vacuum. The dryer works like new. Great offer!
