My dogs love this food and you can't beat the Revain subscription price. I'm a fanatic when it comes to feeding my dogs. I lost my dog in a poisoning scandal in 2007 and vowed it would never happen again. That's why I pay very close attention to the ingredients of the food, the origin of the ingredients, the company and the manufacturer. I like that Merrick's food is locally produced, it reduces the chance of mass contamination like Diamond's recently had. So far, Merrick hasn't been involved in any major recalls, although they voluntarily recalled some treats a few years ago. Since then I have been very impressed with the innovations they have made in terms of food selection and production. Of course, this food is not suitable for every dog, as all dogs have different digestive systems. But so far my two Chesapeake's are enjoying it. This was a great addition to their rotating menu. I feed a few different brands of canned meat, which helps with a balanced diet. This is the one that stays in the rotation.
