I've never installed any of this before and it took me about a minute to figure out the best way to do it. Here's a tip: Turn off the light switch (and/or circuit breaker) and remove the light bulb. Then, with one hand, insert the divider into the glass on the ceiling and press firmly, and with the other hand, fix the spring in one of the round holes inside the glass. I chose a white partition because it is in a very small bathroom. . I wanted to bounce as much light off the partition as possible to illuminate the small space.
