Very stylish look and good workmanship. The head is heavy enough for me to get a close butt shave. I'm still trying out my favorite blade. I usually use the Wilkinson sword, but I tried the Merkur Platinum that came with it. The platinum blade is too aggressive for my sensitive skin. If you have a long beard, Merkur Platinum quickly removes it in a few passes. But Wilkinson Sword is less aggressive and gentler on very sensitive skin. The handle length DE hd suits me because I have big hands. The grip is excellent. Use a toothbrush to keep it clean and remove soap scum, and remember that sometimes a razor blade will rust if you leave it in the base. It's important to clean the threads of the head that come loose from the inside of the handle, otherwise scale and maybe even rust can degrade it. In general everything is excellent! Once you buy this and learn the right angle and pressure and find the right blade FOR YOUR FACE you will never go back to cartridges or electricity.
