My wife bought us a Waterpik Irrigator on Black Friday and since then we have had nothing but good reviews to say about it! I was amazed at how much more effective they are than regular floss and that they actually use tiny jets of water to remove debris from between your teeth. I have known Waterpiks for many years but had no idea how awesome they are until I tried them. After being so impressed with the Irrigator, I guess I had just as high hopes for these tongue cleaners. I have been using a tongue scraper for many years and it is without a doubt the most effective remedy for bad breath - it just works! So after reading a few reviews of these tongue cleaning tips, I was hoping that somehow I could use the combination of cockroaches and these tips in my routine and get the freshest breath. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all. We've had these tips for a few weeks and have only used them twice, and the second use only confirmed our disappointment with the first. I suspect all of the positive reviews for this product are from people who have never used tongue scrapers before and don't realize how incredibly effective this method is. I suspect that when using these expensive attachments they feel like water is dripping onto their tongue so they must feel like they are doing something to help, I really don't know. But the end result is, as much as I hoped, it just didn't work. My advice if you're struggling with bad breath? Ditch the Waterpik tips and buy a tongue scraper instead - inexpensive plastic tips work just as well as expensive stainless steel tips. I've been using them effectively for many years - twice a day with regular brushing. I don't think you will be disappointed.
