Review on 🐾 PetSafe Cotton Training Lead: Durable and Comfy Leash for Effective Pet Training by Susannah Whitebird

Bought one about a year ago to give my very independent 50 lb Lab Pitbull mix more freedom in our unfenced paddock large garden to give for walks. She loves to wander around and sniff things, and will randomly start a full sprint when she senses something interesting and is excited. It was very dangerous with my 6ft leash as it is very strong! I now use this 30ft cotton leash to take her for walks so she can frolic and have fun without risking confusing me. It is very durable and the metal clip shows no signs of wear after a year of use. When I bought a second one, my first one broke due to a bug that was entirely my fault and had nothing to do with walking (don't store it near sharp objects that might cut it, common sense). I would not recommend it for a quickdraw, use a proper quickdraw cable for this, this product is not designed to be used as a quickdraw as it can be chewed. I've looked at reviews of cheaper wires but they all have multiple reviews. with photos of metal clips breaking, some of them injuring their dogs. My dog's safety is worth a little more money to me for this leash! I will continue to buy and recommend this leash as needed to give your dog more freedom and joy. I also highly recommend investing in a pair of summer riding gloves; Wear them while using the leash so you don't burn yourself from the friction of the rope sliding down your arms if your dog suddenly snaps! I loosen the leash a couple of times so the extra leash doesn't drag on the ground when my dog walks towards me. I've learned the hard way that a dog's sudden pull can burn your hand, but that will happen no matter what brand/material you buy (leashes can't ignore the laws of friction!). I recommend the Heritage Performance Glove, also available from Revain at a great price and in a variety of colors and sizes.
