Once you've read the specs on this headset, you have a lot to look forward to: - Multi-device support (simultaneously) - Long range - All-day battery life, and the list goes on. While the range is really good, the rest of the features don't seem to live up to the hype. I use this for Slack and Skype calls (not Skype for Business). The problem is that none of them qualify as a Jabra supported "softphone". Although the headset sometimes shuts down randomly (restarting the base fixes the problem for a while), tech support can't help me because I'm using it with unsupported software. It's a damn USB device that I only use for audio. I'm not trying to manage calls or extra features - I just want this thing to stay connected when I'm using it. It will periodically mute (both mic and speaker) for 2-3 seconds even if the headset is less than 3ft from the base. Fail. The device claims an "all day” battery life. Not sure how many working days the Jabra has but this thing shows less than 50% charge after 3 hours on the phone. I've never let it drop to the point where I'd risk a call being dropped due to a dead battery, but either the battery indicator is off or it lasts 6-7 hours max. Finally, I couldn't pair the headset to my phone without the base station. For example, if I want to get in a car with just my phone and headset - that configuration is said to be supported - I can't get it to work for me. The sound quality seems really good, it's comfortable and the range is excellent. I wish the rest of the features matched the premium price.
