Review on 🧹 Efficient Cleaning with beyond by BLACK+DECKER Steam Mop - LiftReach Head (BDH1715SMAPB) by Shawna Sparks

Not fancy but works well.

This is a great steam mop: it produces a lot of steam, the steam comes out quickly, the head is nimble, the handle is strong, the nozzle is well built. It's not the most expensive steam cleaner and doesn't have a lot of frills, but it works. Two things that I find negative need to be mentioned. They don't significantly decrease the value or usefulness of the mop, but they make a big difference. First, the mop doesn't pull well. The head rises when you pull the mop towards you. Works reliably only on boost. Second, the mop is a single thick pad attached to the plastic head with Velcro. My old steam mop had a double-sided mop that covered the entire head unit and closed with Velcro. You can turn your head and run the wiper with the back of the wiper down once the first side is dirty. This mop has only one side and the back of the mop attaches directly to the velcro straps on the head. This can be easily removed during use. This is the most significant disadvantage. Another, albeit minor, downside is the short cord, which could have been at least two meters longer. However, it is an excellent mop in the most important areas: power and speed and plenty of steam. Let it sit and blow off steam across the floor in a dirty spot on our stone kitchen floor and almost every one of them will eventually remove themselves with a simple mop on it. Finally, remember that there are two on/off buttons. The side controls the steam generator and the front controls the pump. You can turn off the pump to prevent steam from escaping while keeping the generator hot, so steam is immediately available when the pump is turned back on.
