The orange plastic at the interface is translucent and you can see the orange plastic glowing in any light, defeating the purpose of a light-tight nose pad. The glowing orange plastic is visually intrusive, especially in combination with the glasses spacer. Without the spacer, the orange plastic isn't as noticeable and not as obtrusive. However, I was planning on using this device with an eyeglass spacer, but the orange glow is just too distracting. If this interface was black, the light could not penetrate and the product would be perfect.
