The device I have now is a replacement. The first worked less than a day and failed (when I plugged it in it showed up as "Micro SD card reader"). Revain's support has been great! I wanted to try to fix it with software and they tried very hard to help, but it wasn't possible with normal software tools. They replaced it and the replacement has been working fine for about a week now. I have successfully accessed/used it through all its ports. The case of the device and the protective case are made of metal and seem to be quite durable (compared to others I have that are made of plastic). I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the device's protective case can only protect one of the ends of the ports at a time. time, and it was not possible to give step-by-step runs (I would give 4.5). I usually carry these things in my bag - it would be nice to have a cover on the side of the USB-C port or some other technique to protect both sides during storage/transportation.
