These things are reliable! I installed them in the front turn signals and knew how bright they were for the purpose, but they didn't fit the socket because they were flared at the top of the plug. I ended up replacing them with less powerful LEDs intended for the taillights and mounted them on the back and they fit. BUT. I was standing behind my truck and would never want the car behind me at a stop light. I got angry after a few outbursts and wanted to close my eyes. I will replace them because I have no interest in annoying and blinding other drivers behind me at traffic lights. If you're looking ahead with extra brightness, it doesn't matter as much because of the spread of light.
