First of all, I'm not sure if these extenders are for men, women, or both. Judging by the reviews, it could be anyone. I'm in 3.5. Months pregnant and wanted to stretch my pants to buy time before going shopping for maternity clothes. When I received them and took them out of the box, I noticed how tough the material was - it felt like the backing of Velcro - but I tried them out anyway. I couldn't stay in them for more than two hours as they were very irritating to the skin on my stomach. It wasn't that the extension was too tight. The material is just too rough. I'm disappointed in the material but they worked as described and lengthened the waist. I suppose people should tuck their shirts in, which will probably reduce skin irritation, but that's not how I used them.
