Sturdy, heavy on my review.
We’re pyromaniacs at our house when it comes to having a fire. We build them large, hot, & often. This grate seems to be very sturdy & solidly made. It is far enough off the hearth to be able to easily clean ash out from under it. The real test will be how long it lasts with our tough use.
- Made well, but the measurements are misleading and not as long as stated or wide
- The unit is made from 1/2" bar stock and does not have the depth you are looking at in the picture.
