This is perfect for my 5 year old (grade k). My dinosaur loving kid went crazy over this sweatshirt. Because of all the fun colors and dinosaurs, he prefers it to other hoodies pretty much every time he's clean from the laundry. Fossils and dinosaurs going extinct and all that (we love geology in my house). the fabric itself, but somehow there is something layered on top of it, but very natural and reliable). It's very soft inside. There is a classic hood and a front pocket - like any standard sweatshirt. Her weight is classic and perfect. This is a sweatshirt. It's not an overly thin shirt or anything (that should all be obvious and self-evident, but you'd be surprised how many sweatshirts online are hoodies upon arrival). Made in China. it has US sizes on it - this annoys me because I have several children and rely on tag sizes to sort clean laundry. This is a pretty minor complaint, so I still give it 5 stars. All in all I would recommend this.
