I've had my old kitchen scale for over 10 years and while it still works it needs one of those CR2032 batteries from time to time. , and I don't have many of them lying around at home. One of the reasons I bought this Cozyage kitchen scale is that it is rechargeable and runs on regular AAA batteries. This is a big advantage over my old kitchen scale. Plus, this scale can measure up to 33 pounds! I can't think of a use case where I would weigh something that heavy, but having this ability is a definite plus. I checked the accuracy of the scale and it was very accurate (see photo). I can switch measurements from imperial to metric (see photo), which is nice as I sometimes experiment with recipes published in Europe. The tare button is useful because you can reset the weight of the container. The digital display is large and clear. Overall, this kitchen scale is well made, accurate and easy to use. I definitely recommend it.
