Review on Professional Curling and Lifting: Beauticom Dolly's Lash Lift Eyelash Wave Lotion Premium Perm Kit by Beth Collins

I'm surprised that this product gets mostly good reviews. I'm a former makeup artist from a professional background and I've had trouble with this product. It seemed pretty easy at first, but the included glue to stick the lashes to the silicone pad doesn't stick well to the lid or lashes. I curled my lashes before applying to make the process easier. The glue seemed to work and they all applied well to the pad, but the second perm lotion (pink) touched my lashes, the glue gave way and the lashes fell out. Applying more glue made things worse. I've read that you can't apply too much glue or you'll end up with perm lotion not sitting on the last one because the glue can block it. Either way, with a dab of glue or more, the lashes won't stay on the pad. I'm still trying to get through the process of the second (blue) setting lotion, although I had trouble with the pink one. got through it better. The 3rd step "air conditioning" was even worse. My eyes immediately stung, like alcohol, and I barely touched the tip of a cotton swab to the tips of my eyelashes. I had to rinse my eyes and eyelashes with warm water. Unkind. I ended up using good old Vaseline for conditioning. Did the eyelashes end up curling? Like, like, something like. A few weeks later I tried a second time to determine if it was a user or product error. I'm pretty sure it was the product as I've had the same plethora of issues. Finally returned.
