I have long but straight eyelashes. The only way to keep the curls off the curlers was if I used waterproof mascara. But wearing waterproof mascara and going into town five days a week with a heated curling iron (not to mention the pain of removing that waterproof mascara) is a lot of work, and all of that *injury* caused my lashes to sometimes fell out in clusters. I'm surprised that this product gets mostly good reviews. I'm a former makeup artist from a professional background and I've had trouble with this product. I have ordered from this supplier before and love the dolly lash set. It's generally easy to use (a bit tricky when used on yourself for obvious reasons) and has great results! Updated Review: I bought this set again in July 2019 and found the solution in the pink/blue bottle was much thicker than the one I had last year bought. After using this kit as directed and for the recommended maximum time, my lashes were barely frizzy. Not as high as the old kit. I figured it might be user error so I waited a few weeks for my lashes to just straighten and tried again, this time with an extra 2 minutes on one side and 5 on the other (for testing).
