This is just a visual review of the Ecogard S5608. I cannot verify the information provided by the manufacturer. The lid of the filter says Made in China. Claimed efficiency on the box is 99.9% at 25 microns. The filter performance is 2 times higher than conventional filters. Rigid pleats are extremely evenly spaced. The end caps are firmly connected to the filter medium. The combined filter and media length is over 1mm longer than a comparable AC Delco filter and twice the length. I believe this leads to an increase in the flow surface of about 5%. Now a price increase of 78%? Hm.
