Review on Sterling Nickel Free Herringbone Necklace Cleaning by Jose Schweigert

Unlike most herringbone chains, this chain has some weight and is one of my favorites. I was looking for an 18-20 inch herringbone but really wanted something with some weight. I wasn't looking for anything very heavy just a good chain between 4mm and 6mm that wasn't light and flimsy. the best chain I've bought with a herringbone pattern that meets these criteria. Another chain that I really like (and bought) is the 4mm 925 Sterling Silver Snake Chain which is 20 inches long - although I had no intention of purchasing the snake chain, this one looks nice with links and I am very happy with it her. The thickness of this herringbone necklace gives it a beautiful look due to its design. I took some photos of the circuit, an overview and the second close-up (I hope it's clear enough). The necklace was shipped promptly in sealed packaging to prevent tarnishing. A microfiber polishing cloth is included, which you must use to keep the chain in good condition. I often see tarnish complaints in reviews of other silver chains, I've even bought a chain elsewhere that was tarnished on arrival. A microfiber cloth works great but to keep the silver looking shiny and at its best I have purchased/used Weiman Silver Wipes to clean and polish silver jewelry, sterling silver, silver plates and fine antique silver - lot of 20 - although there are many similar products that work just as well, these cloths are easy to use when your chain needs a good cleaning and polish. Long story short, I love this chain - just waiting for the 18" to become available and I'll be buying another one :)
