Perfectly absorbs liquid condensing from a glass. Our glasses and bottles are literally dripping with water when it's cold, and these coasters are very thirsty. Of course, after a few hours of consumption, they will be full. So exchange them. They tend to break with very little impact, so be prepared. I love them though and will buy more. I use them to absorb condensation from thawing meat and other frozen foods. I store meat in double bags to avoid contamination. In addition, these coasters are beautiful to look at.
