. On January 02, 2018 I ordered an adjustable air vent mount for my Samsung GS8. The clip fitted my Ford Explorer easily and quickly. I used smaller tape but found that the phone plate didn't have enough surface area and the phone would slide and/or rotate if it wasn't perfectly balanced or placed. I replaced the round plate with a rectangular one. There was no tape in the kit so I went with Gorilla Glue. A bit messy but it worked well and solved the issues I was having with using a smaller plate. It took a bit of finding the right spot and vent to use, eventually realizing that the fixed vent to the left of the steering was the perfect spot and had no problem with the phone holder or the phone moving. When I picked up my phone on 01 Feb 18 the Cellet mount, clip and magnet assembly fell into three pieces. After many attempts I found that it was not possible to reassemble the three components by twisting the magnet together with the bracket. Clamp while the glue has set. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars. It's versatile, comfortable, functional and unobtrusive.
