I am a carpenter and have recently used several of these sets in my projects. They have a low profile and are easy to hide when needed. The models I used had compatible remotes which means I bought two sets separately and the remotes worked fine with both sets allowing the remotes to be used as a 3 way switch. You have 3 brightness settings, but the flash features are just annoying. Another small downside is the fact that the kits I got have a large transformer that needs to be placed in a hidden location for aesthetic reasons. They work well and have a nice warm light.
