So far the thing is really good. It's ridiculously loud when I turn the volume all the way down on my iPad (it startled me the first time I plugged it in, thinking my iPad was on mute). I just tried another mini speaker. The Strongvolt pop360 sounds a lot clearer and around the same price, although the other speaker doesn't have Bluetooth. Having only had it a few weeks I can't confirm how long it will last as it seems like a compromise for good products at reasonable prices but I'm very happy with it. now. Can't give feedback on the bass as I bought this to listen to podcasts/rifftrax and use headphones for music.
