Review on VMEI Ergonomic Aluminum Adjustable Compatible by Colin Arcos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Provides good posture.

This is my first time owning a laptop stand, but I've seen others use it and would love to buy one myself. I have an online student and also a husband who works on the laptop several hours a day. I also use it myself and my other children. We recently had tongue lift surgery with a very specially trained provider (trained by Zaghi) and the results were INCREDIBLE. We spent MANY HOURS preparing for the surgeries, with myofunctional therapy and bodywork, and we continued all of that after the surgeries. The surgeries have given us AMAZING relief from neck, shoulder and back strain and that's where this LAPTOP STAND comes in. After spending all that money on co-payments for various treatments and surgeries, we want to PROTECT INCREDIBLE results. and this LAPTOP stand ALLOWS us to do just that. we PROTECT our NECK, SHOULDERS AND BACK from returning to pre-surgery condition. We are now FREE from the pain of surgery AND we don't have to worry about using our laptops causing symptoms and tension to return. A LAPTOP STAND helps us sit in the RIGHT posture without the need for a dedicated desk, chair, etc. A laptop stand is MUCH CHEAPER AND EASIER to buy and use than other more expensive options. It can also be used on our laptops of all sizes with very LITTLE adjustment required. All we have to do is adjust the hex bolts in 2 places and we're BACK IN BUSINESS. I attached a custom adjustment tool to the bottom of the frame that holds the laptop. So we don't have to look for a special tool when we want to adjust the stand. it is here. and my little boys do NOT see it so they don't wander around with it for some unknown reason like they do with other little tools etc that they need to see and play around with. The laptop stand has anti-slip pads on the stand frame where the laptop sits, 2 front feet to prevent slipping and anti-slip pads on the bottom of the stand base. For EASY laptop adjustment and stability, I remove the laptop from the stand while I adjust it UNLESS I have an extra pair of hands to hold it still while I adjust the stand. If I don't have an extra pair of hands, I just place the laptop on the table next to me, adjust the stand, and then put the laptop back on the stand. DEAD EASY! Setting up the stand for the different sized laptops we use takes just a few seconds. We have tested the LAPTOP STAND with laptops from 14" to 17 1/2" wide. On a larger laptop (HP) it didn't feel as secure at higher levels, but that's because the front edge of the laptop has a weird, angular shape, so the front edge of the laptop sits slightly higher than the front pillars. It has NOT been dropped but we are very careful when using this particular laptop on a stand. It's easier to use when the keyboard is slightly higher than when it's tilted at a steeper angle. Our small HP laptop works great with it and stays in place, and the support tabs sit perfectly on the front edge of the keyboard. Notebook. Ditto for our Dell laptop, Toshiba and very old school Gateway. They all work equally well on a stand and I love the FLEXIBILITY of being able to share a laptop stand with multiple users and laptops. A cut-out in the laptop stand allows for cables, chargers, etc. to be routed through as they fit each laptop. The stand is light enough to carry to another room, to work, to school, etc. if you don't want to buy multiple laptop stands. It folds to fit in a backpack or laptop bag. I am VERY HAPPY with the laptop stand and how it allows me to sit in the correct posture and causes NO strain, strain or pain. I would buy it again and am considering buying another one so we don't have to constantly share it between laptops. Excellent purchase.
