I was not expecting such a great notebook for the modest price. First off, the notebook came in a box! How fancy is that?! When I opened it, I was surprised at the quality. It has a great feeling cover, elastic pen/pencil holder on the side, and an elastic band to keep the book closed. The pages are quite heavy which is perfect if you are writing with dark, heavy ink. The pages are an off-white or egg color with dash lines. Overall, a great notebook! The only downside to this is the elastic pen holder on the side is centered on the spine and if you have a longer pen/pencil, it could extend past the edge of the book on either side. The pages look like they would be very hard to rip out if you had to. I would give this product 4.5 stars if I could.
