I am interested in this product because it is very similar to the tool my physical therapist uses to straighten knotted muscles. I never realized it was based on oriental medicine. My PT treatment can be a bit painful at the time, but it really works! Last week I had a stiff neck due to poor posture and too much screen time at work. I think the stones really helped and after a few days I had a lot more exercise. The two stones come in a very pretty box, making them perfect as gifts. Stones of different sizes. The smaller one is in the shape of a crooked heart and the slightly larger one has a three-toed foot. I ordered the green set and they are very pretty. The shape makes them easy to hold and easy to manipulate on different parts of the body. They are light. You need to apply enough pressure to get the results you want. There are some great gouache tutorial videos on YouTube. I think it's worth taking the time to look at some of them. It is helpful to learn about the pressure and direction of scraping. As you can imagine, having someone clean your muscles is much more pleasant, but it's easy to do it yourself when you can reach the sore spots easily.
