Review on Bowers Wilkins T7 Bluetooth Gold by Christopher Cortez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great base, clear voice, great battery life but rather limited sound without stereo

This speaker lacks mids and highs. Right before ordering this I ordered a B&O A2 and people around me who had just heard A2 said that A2 lacked punch and depth which made the music sound simple and cheap. Well, when the B&W T7 arrived I was so excited to hear this great big name speaker that I saw Best Speaker of 2016 somewhere on the website; and having listened more to the T7, I was impressed by the A2 with its rich sound. The strength of the T7 lies in its battery life, great bass and clear voice when playing songs with lyrics. However, every time I hear orchestral music, I have to turn the volume down when the accent part comes, and turn it up when the strings are quiet. The difference between bass and treble was too big to handle without changing the volume. Another problem was that he couldn't seem to use the space properly. It sounded too limited, sounded like loud music coming out of a small speaker. Yes, if you turn up the volume, it will be very loud and sustained, it will last longer than A2. However, as soon as I turned on the A2, I heard all this noise that the T7 couldn't hear in the same music, especially surround sound music. very noisy for the crowd to dance or something. For me I am sending it back.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember
