I don't know why I can't get them to work the washing machine. I'm not new to attaching grommets and yes I use them with my crop-a-dile tool but they just don't work properly. When I compare them to my other eyelets, they are not the same. Perforations on the necks that seem to help them roll evenly. Instead, they're just randomly squeezed from behind, which is fine if you won't see the back. But if you want a pretty finish on both sides of your project (like a gift tag), you won't get it from them. And even though they don't have a washing machine, they still look a lot better.
