I've seen a lot of people rate this as support for the Macbook Pro M1 and that's why they gave it less stars. This version is not for Macbook Pro but for Macbook Air M1. And it works fine. Mine just arrived today (April 3rd) and my 2021 Macbook Air M1 is docked as we chat. BTW, I've also read reviews where people say you need one of the connectors to connect directly to the store. Harbor. While this might make sense for the Macbook Pro M1, which has additional fans and needs extra cooling, this is not the case for the Macbook Air M1. Also, I used a dual-port USB-C hub with two USB-C extensions attached to it to bypass the Brydge form factor. My charging cable is plugged into a hub, not a docking station, and it works fine. My computer charges, I have an external HD drive, the keyboard works, no problems. The assembly is reliable. Heavy for its size, but needs a solid foundation to keep it from falling. I followed the directions and put a protective sticker on my ports and had no issues with scratches or anything. Is it expensive for what he does? Yes. But I like the space I save on my desk, and it's nice that I don't have to unplug my hub's two-port connector from my laptop ports, so I know it'll last longer overall. Hope this helps other people wondering what it does.
