I bought this stand so I don't have to look at the laptop screen. And he does his job well. It raises the laptop so the screen can be raised as well, now I can maintain a snug fit. The stand can be adjusted to different heights, which I like. The hinges are also aluminum and seem strong enough that they won't break anytime soon. Bottom line, this is such a simple accessory that can do a lot for your neck. I would definitely recommend it if you use your laptop for a long period of time.
