We made this for my son's science fair project (he got 2nd place in the county btw)! They should provide the audience and the judges with samples of the music used in his experiment. They play long enough to provide decent samples of the music used and still sound good after over a month in my son's backpack and two science fairs. Addendum: My daughter needed a thunder note for her book launch so we remapped one of my son's recorders for it and it still worked! They lasted much longer than expected. Absolutely recommendable for this purpose!
