Uses an AA battery for power (3 pieces). Superior illumination; sensitive cameras will detect no flicker. The detectable distance is roughly 4 meters, and the detectable angle is unquestionably greater than 120 degrees. The brightness may be set anywhere from 1% to 100%, and the length of the glow can be customized from 1 to 60 seconds. The device's own on/off modes, such as going from total darkness to broad daylight, are also available. In the hall and the kitchen, I had thirty minutes of sixty seconds of light. Not sure how much electricity it consumes after being installed for almost two months.
